Co.Export S.c.c.ar.L. is the Main Applicant of the project.
Co.Export is a consortium that deals with the internationalisation of SMEs and its main goal is to provideenterprises with a real supporting tool for their introduction, expansion and consolidation in foreign markets offering a range of services that cover all the problems connected with the international development of SMEs.
Co.Export has: 10 direct offices abroad through associated local societies in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania. Bulgaria, Russia and Kazakhstan; and 11 correspondence offices with local firms in Peru, Cuba, United States, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Libya, Jerusalem, India, and China.
Co.Export represents a unique and useful tool for supporting and introducing all the enterprises that wish to start or to strengthen their presence on foreign markets, in all those initiatives and activities that require the involvement of structures, networks and professional know-how, usually very difficult to find on the market today.
PARTNER 1 – Silk Association of Nepal (SAN)
Silk Association of Nepal (SAN) is a private sector apex organization of Silk entrepreneurs, industrialist, sericulture farmers and professionals. SAN was established in 1992 to oversee, plan, and organise sericulture as well as silk product development and promotion activities and to boost silk enterprises as a viable and high value-added export industries in Nepal. The major objectives of SAN are to work as an institution for the promotion of silk farming and production in Nepal, to work as representative body by identifying and resolving problems relating to silk farming and production whether such problems are concerned with the Nepalese Government or other organisations; to explore technology for scientific and applied silk farming and production for the betterment of the sericulture and silk entrepreneurs by the exchange and share of views and experiences with global and regional institutions and entrepreneurs related with silk farming, production and marketing; to promote the preparation of the required infrastructure to develop silk farming and production as an income generating and export oriented businesses; to render assistance in full capacity to its members for the production of silk at international standards by giving due attention to the quality of silk produced in Nepal.
SAN has 141 members of silk farmers as well as silk product manufacturers and exporters.
PARTNER 2 – Lombardy Region Government

The Lombardy Region’s mission is to promote what society is able to construct in its various forms, by creating the conditions and the framework necessary for people, undertakings, entities and organisations to achieve their own projects and their own ideas.
Some figures: the Lombardy Region Government is one of the four "engines" in Europe together with Baden-Württemberg (Germany), Catalogna (Spain) and Rhône-Alpes (France) being one of the richest regions in the European Union; Enterprises account approximately for 15% of the national total; Lombardy is the major Italian financial centre; Approximately 40% of the Italian multi-nationals originate from Lombardy (800 foreign and multi-national companies have their headquarters there); The crafts industry represents a source of wealth in terms of professionalism and tradition, it is ‘worth’ approximately one sixth of the regional economic system and accounts for between 18-20% of the overall sector on a national level; The district of Como has the most important sericulture district of Italy (out of 130 Italian sericulture companies, 125 belong to the sericulture district of Como).
PARTNER 3 – Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Zaragoza (AIJEZ)

The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Zaragoza, Spain (AJE Zaragoza) is a non-for-profit making organisation, whose aim is the promotion of a business vocation among young people, by offering them support and advise on the economic and business world. AJE Zaragoza was founded more than 15 years ago and currently has over 600 associates, making it the most represented young entrepreneurs association in the Autonomic Community of Aragon (Spain). AJE Zaragoza is connected to all AJEs – Spanish Associations of Young Entrepreneurs (over 30 organisations and over 18.000 member) nationally
AJE Zaragoza Objectives:
- Provide information, training, and research counselling, to its members studying and promoting all of the themes that could affect this sector and their affiliates.
- It creates and helps in the developments and provides support to business projects.
- Represents, manages and defends the professional interests of its members and captures and encourages the promotion and developments of business vocations between the youth.
- Co-operates with the different social organisations in order to obtain a stable growth and adequate quality level.
- Acts in promoting the International Co-operation, with special interest in the under developed countries.
Nepal Pashmina Industries Association (NPIA) is a non-governmental, non-profit making business membership organisation established in the year 2000. Its main objective is to unite all Pashmina entrepreneurs of Nepal and work for the sustainable development of Nepalese Pashmina industries. At present, NPIA has 145 members all over the country. NPIA is working as an association partner with SAN in LINE Project.
